How do I know if counseling will be right for me?
Does it seem like you feel persistently unhappy? Does it seem like your friends, family and coworkers are persistently unhappy with you? We all have days or even weeks when things are just not going well.
You might have already tried to work things out for yourself. It's not unreasonable to continue to try, but you may want to tell yourself, "If things don't improve after a few weeks, I'll try counseling."
We usually don't hesitate to visit medical professionals when confronted with physical illness or discomfort. For issues that are emotional or relational in nature, working with a counseling professional may help to improve your emotional issues, your relationships at work or in your personal life.
What can I expect from the first counseling session?
We believe in doing what works to help individual clients. Each person is unique, and each deserves a unique approach to counseling.
From the very first session, we will work with you to identify your strengths that will help you navigate through your current life challenges.
We believe that you are the ultimate expert on where you want to go in your life -- we just want to help you get there.
