Eva Smejkal-Smith, M.S., LMFTA
Eva is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University with a Masters of Science in Psychology and specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.
 
Eva has nine years experience working with youth, families and individuals through Montgomery County Youth Services, The Women's Center, Houston Galveston Institute and the Covenant House of Houston. Eva assists individuals and families struggling with relationship difficulties, anger problems, communication, divorce issues, depression, anxiety, and grief. 
 
Eva believes that therapy can build bridges between family members, reopen lines of effective communication, repair relationships that feel strained and divided and enhance personal growth and healing. With the help of therapy, people can work toward creating better solutions and accomplishing their individual and family goals. 

Eva has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and she uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples.
